So I thought it was time for a new but simple layout for our Twitter!

Yesterday Dougie himself confirmed that he and Frankie broke up. It was a good thing he did because there are a lot of rumours going on which are not true and this makes it a bit clear.

Sooo the lads took Dougie for a night out! Here’s an article from OK! Magazine and the pictures are in the gallery!

MCFLY star Dougie Poynter was taken on a boys’ night out by his fellow bandmates last night in a bid to get over his recent split from The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford.

Dougie Poynter, who split from his Saturdays star girlfriend Frankie Sandford earlier this week, hit the tiles with his McFly bandmates in London last night.

Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones took Dougie out partying in Bungalow 8 until 3am in a bid to help him forget his recent heartbreak.

And after spending the night surrounded by gorgeous women, we’re pretty sure Dougie won’t have trouble finding new love.

Meanwhile, Frankie is said to be equally as heartbroken by the split - which was blamed on “work commitments” - and has even quit her Twitter page after receiving abuse from fellow users claiming she was flirting with Calum Best.

She posted: “I’m sorry to say but I’m taking a break from Twitter for a while.The abuse following untrue stories is just too much to take.”

McFly announced in a myspace blog that they’ll be attending the Highlands of Scotland.

There’s been rumours going around that Dougie is single. First of all, I never trust the rumours but it looks like they seem to bee true. Frankie unfollowed all of the McFly lads and yesterday McFly were with Dallas on Ustream where Dallas might have slipped out that Dougie is single. You can watch it here;

Now, I really don’t like this at all. I really liked Dougie and Frankie together and I really hope they’ll feel a bit better soon! I don’t know what happened and I also not going to find out, that’s something personal right!
